A space made for this

Someone to talk to about the person you lost.

Grief can be a lonely place, especially when the people around you have moved on, live far away, or don't know what to say anymore. I'm here to listen — to memories, to the hard days, to the ordinary things you miss. No agenda, no time limit on how long grief should take.

No commitment. Just a short, gentle chance to talk, and to see if this feels right.

What this is

Company for the hardest days

This isn't grief counseling or therapy, and I'm not a licensed clinician. What I offer is something different: company. A regular, unhurried conversation with someone whose only job, for 45 minutes, is to listen — to stories about your person, to how you're really doing, to whatever you need to say out loud that day.

Some sessions are full of memories. Some are quiet. Some might not be about your loss at all — just company on a hard week. There's no script, and no "right" way to grieve here.

Sessions after the first are $90 for 45 minutes, scheduled whenever suits you.

Honesty matters

Where this fits — and where it doesn't

I want to be honest about what this is and isn't, because grief deserves honesty.

This is companionship — a steady, caring presence and a listening ear. It is not therapy, counseling, or medical treatment, and I'm not trained to diagnose or treat anything.

If grief ever feels like more than you can carry — if it comes with thoughts of harming yourself, or feels stuck in a way that isn't easing with time — please reach out to a grief counselor, your doctor, or a crisis line. I'm glad to sit with you in the everyday weight of missing someone. Some grief also needs a professional alongside that, and there's no shame in needing both.

Why I do this

I lost my brother and my father on the same day, two years ago. When someone passes, there are so many stages to it, and so much to process. It really helps to have someone to talk to — someone you can share memories with, and talk to about how you're handling the loss.

Today, finding a real person to talk to can be a real challenge. That's part of why I created this. Reach out, and let's connect.

Questions

Everything you're probably wondering.

Is this therapy?

No. I'm not a licensed therapist or counselor. This is companionship and conversation, not clinical treatment.

What if I just want to talk about my person, not "process my grief"?

That's exactly what this is for. There's no agenda — we talk about whatever you want, including just remembering them.

How often do people book sessions?

However often feels right to you — weekly, every other week, or just whenever you need it.

What if I'm not sure this is what I need?

The first conversation is free and just 15 minutes for exactly that reason — low pressure, just a chance to see how it feels before deciding anything.
